To be a parent means to be worried and overprotective of your baby 24/7. This new love could leave you in a constant “awe” state that you may never get over. It is one of the most incredible feelings to have a little darling right between your arms, but also, you will get very overwhelmed with the endless feedings and diaper changing.

It will be even impossible to consider getting out the house, but the truth is, you have to go as far as possible from home in order to find yourself and add many benefits to your baby and beautiful family because as always, travel is the solution for everything!

1. BUILD THE BRIDGE BETWEEN COUPLE AND FAMILY

The activity that most people have in common is the love and desire to travel. In fact, many couples have met and shared this hobby together as it was the candle that always warms up their love.

But after being parents, many people stop having adventures or even consider going anywhere because, obviously, the baby is a full-time job.

I remember when my partner and I took our first trip with the baby, I was truly expecting it to be hard, but I slowly realized that traveling as a family has a new, great taste that I have never known before. It will make you fall all over again for your partner!

2. FAMILY TIME COULD RESTRICT BEHAVIORAL PROBLEMS

After the baby is born, both parents will not have enough time for each other since both of you will be taking care of the baby, and when he/she sleeps, the both of you will be in a desperate need to rest, too.

However, if you traveled with the cute toddler, you will not only have more time to spend with your partner, but your baby is going to be “engaged” with both of you at a very early age.

In fact, some researchers found that children with parents whose more positively engaged with them before 3 months of age, most likely to show fewer behavioral problems by the end of the first year.

3. IF YOU CAN TRAVEL, THEN NOTHING IS INTIMIDATING

You remember when the baby was born and how all the tasks seemed so hard and impossible to achieve. Between the feeding, the crying, and the confusion of what the baby needs, you always find yourself incapable to even take a bath.

But if you traveled with the baby, you will learn how to nurse the baby in the middle of hikes, change his/her clothes on the ground of national parks, and surviving the madness of airports.

This experience will teach you how to handle all the ordinary baby challenges like a hero and will give you more confidence when you are faced with the same challenges in more comfortable situations.

4. LOVE SIMPLICITY

Getting caught with what the baby should have is actually a big dilemma when you are packing, and when the luggage restrictions of airlines come your way, you learn what your baby really needs. In the end, and as long as you have enough diapers, you will understand that your baby can stay happy and satisfied with one or two toys only.

When you give the baby an option of picking their toys from a big basket, then for sure, they will never be able to make up their mind. Travel will help you learn how simplicity is enough to live happily.

5. BABIES ARE SUPER PORTABLE

Basically, you will not be doing any modifications to the activities you like to do because you have the ability to keep your baby close in a front pack or even hiking backpack. However, there is no more standing close to the side of a cliff. The life of you and your baby has more value than the view you will find.

Moreover, if it is nap time, then all you need to do is offering a dark place or hop inside the car, unlike when they are older and need their special blanket, a pitch-black room, lullaby, and 2 bed-time stories in order for the sleep to even be a possibility.

6. IT IS CHEAPER WHEN THEY ARE YOUNG

Most airlines have a rule that we are all about, and it is the ability to not purchase the second seat until your child is 2 years old. Plus, you will not have to pay for beds, entrance fees, or any additional meals when you check in to a hotel.

It is the best time to see the world, finding yourself, be close to your partner, connecting with your baby, and be friendly with your bank account.

7. NO TEMPER TANTRUMS

Honestly, babies are not easy, but when they decide to let out their loud screams and tears, it is mostly because of a good reason like exhaustion, pain or hunger. Not like older kids when they cry because of anything and everything, they could even cry for one hour straight because you didn’t let them push the elevator button.

Plus, people will be more forgiving of crying babies than toddlers kicking their seats on the plane. Did you see? To travel with your young baby is a total blessing.

8. NEW ENVIRONMENTS PROMOTE LANGUAGE SKILLS

Being in varied environments promote language skills early, according to the European Journal of Social Sciences Education and Research, which could be a great chance for the whole family to take advantages of the many benefits for the little baby.

Plus, and according to Infant/Toddler Environment Rating Scale, babies who get the chance to be exposed to nature at a young age are generally more advanced when it comes to science and reading than their peers.

9. ROLLING WITH THE PUNCHES

Any habit and behavior learned during babyhood are going to affect the practices during the toddler years and beyond.

Technically, we are reaping the rewards of shaping a little traveler, which is going to be very beneficial in terms of having an enthusiastic personality that can found its peace only outside within nature, up in the sky, and while exploring new cultures.

In general, traveling with a baby could truly be a pain in the neck, but trust me when I say that it is also worth it! He/she may not remember their earliest adventures, but you will never forget them. Plus, the pictures and stories will be worth sharing when they are older.
